SOFT PERFUME BY SABE MASSON: The Power of Smell That Reconnects Us to Our Senses and to Our Inner Selves

Hello COCOBELLES, I am so excited to share with you this “made in France” brand, Sabé Masson, which I just recently discovered. The company is located in Paris, France and was founded by Isabelle Masson-Mandonnaud , who also co-founded Sephora and then sold it to LVMH, the current owners of the retailer. Isabelle says her quest to invent and reinvent herself led her to create the concept of Beauty and well-being fragrances with a thousand virtues. Through the creation of Soft Perfume, which is a new way to add scents that are respectful of and beneficial to the skin.

What is a Soft Perfume you ask? Soft Perfume is a beauty and well-being perfume in a stick form. It is alcohol and paraben-free, with a natural cosmetic base and 10% fragrance, making it ideal for all skin types, even the most sensitive. It also comes in a small size stick that allows for 300 applications.

The Soft Perfume was created to provide the ultimate multi-sensory experience, offering pure French cosmetic pleasure with quirky, unforgettable scents. They are perfectly portable with a convenient application; Soft Perfumes propose a new ritual of perfuming.

There are three natural compositions that make up the base to of the perfume stick:

  1. Tiara oil, known for its hydrating and softening properties, is extracted from a Tahitian flower.

  2. Shea butter is used for its nourishing and healing properties.

  3. Mango butter and Tamanu oil are known for their antioxidant and regenerating properties and are ideal for damaged skin in need of revival.

These beautiful soft perfumes exist in 16 different fragrances. They also include references that are vegan. Each one comes with an olfactive symbol on the package and on the insert that lists the respective fragrance ingredients.

You can apply this fragrance just about everywhere, like your temples, wrists, neck, behind your knees, and your cleavage. Because it doesn’t contain alcohol, I was able to use it on certain areas of my face. The Soft Perfume leaves no residue and it’s non-oily, with no sticky feeling. This formula glides onto the skin like a caress. You can carry it in your purse as you would your lipstick (the tube is large enough not to be mistaken for your lipstick) and they are great for travelling on planes.

So far, I have only tried one fragrance, De Guerre Lasse, but I will be sure to buy additional ones very soon. The price in France is 22€, between $24 or $27 US, but that will depend on the exchange rate at the time of purchase.

I was worried about whether a stick perfume would last as long as a liquid one, but it turned out to be long lasting. Oh, and did I mention that the packaging is awesomely beautiful?

Lastly, Sabé Masson also produces perfumes in a liquid form, both with and without alcohol. You can find the brand online at the BeautyHabit.com, Amazon.com and is carried in some beauty salons in, Los Angeles, Chicago and New York.
