We were founded in 1995. We’re celebrating our 25th anniversary this year.
What inspired Nicka K?
After owning a string of successful beauty supply stores, the founder saw a void in the marketplace for affordable premium cosmetics.
Who is Nicka K for?
Our color cosmetics are universal. However, our face powders and foundations are geared towards medium light to darker complexions. We noticed there was a lack of representation of available affordable cosmetics for women of color.
Tell us about your Lip Gel.
Our
Lip Gel is made with Vitamin E and is paraben free. We pride ourselves on our formula. We’ve been making this product for the past 18 years. Many of our competitors have attempted to replicate our formula, but none of them have succeeded.
What’s the difference between a lip gel and lip gloss?
Both offer a “wet lip look” but a lip gel is thicker and lends a longer wear than a lip gloss.
Is your Lip Gel sticky?
Our
NK Lip Gels are specially formulated to be non-sticky while offering a mirror-shine finish.
Does the gel leave the stain of the color on lips or is it just a gel finish?
The NK Lip gels offer a “barely there” tint on the lips. It mostly offers a gel-type finish.
What other flavors does your Lip Gel come in?
