This skin care line was created by Noah Hakim, an analytical and cosmetic chemist who created this brand out of a sheer necessity for a family member who was suffering from Psoriasis. The company started at the end of 2015.
Five years ago, I learned that a family member who had severe Psoriasis for many years was unable take medication on a regular basis, due to the risk of liver damage. The itching and scaling symptoms were severe, and nothing he used really helped. I then created a natural remedy for him that consisted of Organic Aloe Vera, salt from the Dead Sea, vitamin E and Tea Tree pure Essential oil. The use of the Dead Sea salt with its minerals helped with his dry skin symptoms. He was so happy to be able to go to the beach and wear a short-sleeved shirt without embarrassment. The pleasure I felt was priceless. I then decided to make it my mission to help more people with dry skin disorders and create skin care products with Dead Sea salt.
Each ingredient in this natural vegan face cream has a specific role in the formulation to get the best final result. This non-comedogenic Daily Face Cream is clinically tested and dermatologist approved. No Chemicals such as Triclosan, Phthalates or Parabens are used. There are also no color additives or fragrances.
The main ingredient is the Dead Sea salt with its high minerals content. Studies show that the high concentration of Magnesium, Bromide ions in Dead Sea salt make it instrumental in improving skin hydration and reducing inflammation. It’s also known for its ability to cleanse and detoxify the skin and body.
Unfiltered raw Shea Butter:
offers a concentration of natural vitamins (A, E and F) and fatty acids such as oleic, stearic, palmitic and linolenic acids. Shea butter helps to moisturize skin and provides the nutrients necessary for collagen production. Also, the presence of Cinnamic compounds helps to reduce inflammation and may offer UV protection (it is SPF ˜6).
Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein:
is also called phyto peptides, this type of protein helps to retain water and improve skin moisture.
Aloe Vera Juice:
is used instead of water. This juice is made from the whole Aloe Vera leaves to include the inner gel, which soothes the skin and serve as an anti-inflammatory. The herb is also an effective moisturizing agent and has antimicrobial properties against many common bacteria and fungi.
Rosehip seed oil:
Rosehip oil is classified as a dry oil, which is quickly absorbed into the skin offering several benefits with its primary constituents of Vitamins E, C, A and B-carotene.
Carrot seed oil:
Carrot seed oil primarily contains the well-known pigment carotene and it is high in antioxidants. It also has the ability to rejuvenate the look and feel of the face skin.
