At the core of the Naked Beaute brand is the love of family that gave birth to a skin care line that is the embodiment of “that which Mother Earth grows naturally is what best provides skin nourishment.” It’s always refreshing to find a brand that keeps the consumers’ well being in mind hence their tag line, “Beaute in its purest form.” This bath, body and skincare line produces a line of products that not only nourishes and moisturizes the skin but also incorporates ingredients that are safe and effective. Tell us the Naked Beaute story. How did the brand get its start?
Naked Beaute was born in a period of my life when I had just lost my mother to cancer and other complications. I needed an outlet to fill the void that unexpectedly entered my life. I’ve always been blessed with the gifts of being artistic and crafty which led me to becoming an avid DIY’er. We as people are faintly aware of certain things when they affect others but when you are forced to deal with specific circumstances you become keenly alert. Having to deal with cancer face to face caused me to pay closer attention to underlying issues and concerns regarding the chemicals our bodies absorb daily from the products we use. That concern is what sparked my research of ingredient after ingredient of the bottles in my bathroom. The more I learned the more horrified I became. Out of a desire to formulate safer products for my family, Naked Beaute was born.
What ingredients or properties make your product especially effective or unique?
Formulating healthy natural bath and body products is no easy task. There’s a combination of art and science that must be used to create products that are both safe and effective. Each product in the Naked Beaute line took hours of research and testing. For many unnatural harmful chemicals used in some store bought products, there is a natural resource that will provide the same or better effect. Our products are effective because we use ingredients that are close to the food pyramid. That which Mother Earth grows naturally is what best provides skin nourishment. We combine that with essential oils, other botanicals and a combination of necessary ingredients that have been tested as non-carcinogenic and non-skin irritants. We formulate with as minimal amount of ingredients whenever possible to keep our products safe and effective allowing our consumers a sense of peace.
Why does a woman need your product in her skin care routine?
A woman’s skin is the largest organ of her body. Knowing this, do you want that organ to be nourished with junk food or whole food? Do you want it to function at optimal levels or constantly breaking down? If your answers are the former, Naked Beaute is essential to overall skin health.
