When did the brand get its start?

What was the inspiration behind creating this customized hair care system?
At HairRx, we believe every woman is unique… and her hair care should be, too! We set out to help women make informed decisions about hair care by providing advanced beauty solutions and ingredients that address their specific needs. The HairRx customization concept was co-invented by Jodi Dery, owner of the Cloud 10 salons in Florida, and QVC founder Joe Segel, who is our Co-CEO at HairRx. They were inspired after Jodi recognized that stylists in her salons were often mixing different shampoos to create custom formulas to address the unique hair care needs of individual clients. Our team then set out to create a customized solution that everyone could enjoy and benefit from.
What are the key ingredients in the Professional Nourishing Shampoo and Conditioner?
This duo is ideal for all hair types, but especially for dry hair. The advanced shampoo formula revives and smooths damaged areas of the cuticle, reduces dehydration, and leaves hair healthy, lustrous and soft. Hydrogenated Starch Hydrolysate is the technical name for a type of sugar that is capable of retaining water and is used to help prevent hair from dehydrating. Plant-based ingredients like hydrolyzed almond, rice and wheat proteins are perfect for chemically treated or dry hair. They strengthen and condition, helping to maintain hair’s moisture balance. How does this hair care system work with frizz control?
