How did the Bodyography brand get its start?
Bodyography was started in the ‘90s at the forefront of the mineral makeup evolution. With a line of 24 mineral lipsticks, the popularity of Bodyography grew among Hollywood makeup artists and a full cosmetics range was created. Now Bodyography is found in top salons, spas and beauty supply stores across the US and in over 50 countries worldwide. Bodyography offers beautiful color cosmetics with essential vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, enhancing your features from the inside out.
Who is the target Bodyography consumer? What is her lifestyle like?
Bodyography has a large target demographic, ranging from women ages 20-60. The Bodyography woman is knowledgeable about ingredients, she cares about what she puts on her skin and wants to look natural and beautiful--while still being able to achieve a polished and put together look in minutes. The Bodyography woman leads a busy life: she is a student, a mother, a grandmother, a business owner, an athlete and an artist. The Bodyography woman is all skin tones and types, she is gorgeously unique, and is confident in being herself and expressing her style through makeup and fashion.
What is the most important thing you would want COCOTIQUE subscribers to know about the brand?
It is important for COCOTIQUE subscribers to understand the research and development that goes into the production of Bodyography cosmetics. Each product has more than just one function and truly does deliver top quality results with enriched ingredients that nourish your skin and enhance your best features. We are also proud to be certified as a cruelty free brand and offer vegan and gluten free cosmetic options. There is something for everyone.
February COCOTIQUE subscribers are receiving a full size Pure Pigments Eyeshadow. What other Bodyography products would pair well with this Paraben and filler free product?
Our Pure Pigment Eyeshadows are amazingly pigmented pressed mineral shadows. They can be used wet and dry for different levels of vibrancy, and can even be used in the hair as hair chalk! Bodyography’s Canvas Eye Mousse would pair wonderfully with this product, as this unique eye base not only makes shadow appear more vibrant and long wearing, but also fills in fine lines and wrinkles around the eye area, and conceals imperfections. We recommend applying the pure pigments with one of our shadow brushes: the Tapered Blending Brush, Eyeshadow Brush, or Flat Shader Brush.
What tips would you offer women for maintaining healthy skin after they've removed their makeup products?
Once the makeup is removed and the skin is cleansed, it is important to use a toner or any kind of ph balancing spray. This will make sure that your skin is brought back to a happy ph balance and it preps your skin for the application of skincare. We recommend using your wet products first (toner, cleanser, masks) followed by your more active serums (eye cream, facial oil, facial serum) and finally locking it all in with a rich moisturizer - your skin will be very thankful!
