What is CHLORELLA GROWTH FACTOR (CGF) and how did you decide to include it in ACURE Organics products?
Chlorella Growth Factor is organically grown green algae clinically proven to protect collagen and elastin fibers from breakdown; they have shown an increase in collagen expression by 333% at 1 % concentration. It also supports optimal cellular generation and repair, which makes it a natural superfood for the skin. Our Founder, Jon Guerra, studied this ingredient with a team of doctors in Amsterdam who where observing CGF's ability for wound site healing. The successful results were far reaching for not only repair, but anti-aging and increased protection at the cellular level, inspiring Jon to make this simple but potent plant-based ingredient a core element in our line.
