Former Television Producer, Natalie Plain started Billion Dollar Brows after years of struggling to tame her thick and unruly eyebrows. After coming up empty handed in her search to find a simple solution for her brows, Plain decided to create a line of brow products of her own. Today, Billion Dollar Brows has expanded their categories and created Billion Dollar Beauty. COCOTIQUE: When and how did the brand get its start
NP: I launched Billion Dollar Brows out of my Los Angeles apartment in 2004 strictly as a passion project. I have always been obsessed with my eyebrows but felt uninspired by the products that were on the market. So, I went to a cosmetic lab and told them my idea for a brow brand. Fast forward 14 years later, BDB is now distributed globally in thousands of retailers, salons, and spas. I’m extremely proud that my company has been at the forefront of the latest brow trends, but most importantly, has always stood for my personal beliefs of producing quality, cruelty-free products that deliver on their promise. Last year, Billion Dollar Brands expanded into the beauty space with a cruelty-free, vegan, and a charcoal infused makeup brush line. This is a natural next step for the brand, as we expand from brows into brushes and beyond!
