Hair: I recently switched up my hair routine as I found out that when you have fine curly hair, you should shampoo often, going very light on the conditioner--which is the complete opposite of what I had been doing. Now my routine consists of shampooing every other day if, possible, using Carol's Daughter sulfate free shampoo. The conditioning depends on what look I'm going for: if I want curly curls I really like Bumble & Bumble curl conscious conditioner; if I'm going to straighten my hair, I use Sally Hershberger volumizing conditioner; when I want to deep condition I really like Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition 3-minute Undo (this conditioner is amazing for dry hair. I even use it sometimes as a leave-in conditioner for my daughter); and when I want serious conditioning I use Carol’s Daughter Monoi repairing mask (I love this mask! I use this on my hair type and my daughter’s and I let it stay on while I'm cleaning and doing things around the house); for soft, air dried waves I like Herbal Essence coconut conditioner.

After conditioning, I always do a final rinse with very cold water, as it helps the hair shine and locks the strands to disguise any split ends. I wring out as much water as possible, and then dry it with a tee shirt--NEVER A TOWEL, as they make hair frizzy! As a leave-in, I swear by Oribe Volumista Mist for Volume, because I have fine hair, and because it’s also a heat protectant, which is really important if you’re going to use heat for styling. I usually don't use finishing products because too many products weigh my hair down. For my daughter, who has tight curls that tend to get very dry, I love Carol’s Daughter conditioner and Moroccanoil.

Makeup: On most days I do minimal make-up with Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage concealer #4, and Guerlain Terracotta tan booster in 01 light as a bronzer. My all time favorite and everyday blush is Nars ‘Taj Mahal’. I have so many blushes and I never use anything but this, unless I'm working of course.

I always curl my lashes because they are very straight so my eyelash curler is something I can't go without. I like Shu Uemura the best. I have tried every mascara under the sun and I have finally found one that takes the top spot: Covergirl Lash Blast Volume (in the orange tube). I use waterproof because I have such straight lashes that the curl falls but with waterproof mascara they hold curl all day long. I have found one other mascara that runs a close second and that's YSL's Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils Babydoll.

On days that I wear liner I use Make Up For Ever's kohl pencil 1K, which is the blackest black, or Tom Ford Eye Defining Pencil in 02 onyx. On my lips I love C.O.Bigelow Mentha Supreme 2X Lip Balm, it has great shine, is not sticky at all and the peppermint in it is very refreshing. I also like Christian Dior Crème de Rose--it's very conditioning and has a rose scent.

If I'm really getting glammed up for a night out with the girls or a fancy dinner then I'll do a little more. I start with Smashbox Photo Finish Primer with SPF 20, and use Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation and Giorgio Armani Fluid Sheer #3 together. For the eyes I'm obsessed with Tom Ford's Eye Color Quad in 02 cognac sable. And for lips I am crazy for MAC's Lady Danger, BITE Beauty matte pencil in Pomegranate and MAC’s Siss.

Skin care: I try really hard to take great care of my skin. I have dry to normal skin so I drink a lot of water, and keep it moisturized as well as possible. I wash my face with Perricone MD Citrus Facial Wash. Now that it's winter, I use a heavier moisturizer than I do in the summer. I'm using a product named BOOMSILK that is made from 100% organic ingredients and it's AMAZING! It's made for the entire body but I mainly use it on my face because I don't want to run out. It's very very very moisturizing. For the eyes I use Perricone MD High Potency Eye Lift. At night I use the same face wash and eye cream but I use the Perricone Cold Plasma moisturizer and Cold Plasma Sub-D on my jaw line, chin and neck.

Nails: My favorite polishes are KO Knock Out in Flatte Black and KoKo (a brown) and they are both matte. I also am a big fan of NYLA nail strips because I love all of the patterns and they're easy to remove when my nails have to be nude for work.

Fragrance: I have so many perfumes but I always wear the same one: Petite Cherie by Annick Goutal. It's unbelievable. I keep Tokyo Milk Dark in my purse for later in the day.

Beauty Indulgence: My beauty indulgence would have to be spa days. Like any other girl, I LOVE THE SPA!! I don't get to go as often as I used to now that I'm a single mommy but when I do, I make sure I plan it so that I can spend the entire day there, relaxing my mind body and spirit.
