COCOTIQUE Box - December 2014

I ordered this box after December 14 and was impressed with the offerings!

I absolutely loved the products that came in this box! The Alikay Naturals Lemongrass Leave-in conditioner is my favorite and I plan to purchase a bottle as soon as I run out. The Alikay Naturals Essential 17 Hair Growth Oil is nice and I use it several times a week. I am not a fan of the Alikay Creme Brulee-however I'm not really a fan of this type of product in general. I used the Milani Color Statement polish right away and loved the deep purple color. It's perfect for the winter season. The Luster's YOU Be-Natural Tangle Me Knot Detangling Shampoo was another favorite product of mine from this box. The shampoo smelled great and it worked very well on my 4c natural hair for detangling. Great product!

I love everything in my December box. It's amazing. This was my first box and I love everything about it. The quality of the packaging caught me off guard. It was so beautiful. You can tell that there was a lot of thought put into everything before actually lifting the gold label to experience the products. The Alikay items are awesome and smell amazing. Needless to say, I'm in love with my 1st box. I've used everything and I can't wait for the next one to arrive.

First, permit me to express what a privilege it is for me to be a part of something as wonderful as Cocotique. Before joining here, I was a member of another site and received their subscription box each month. It was at half the price and yet still I could not help feeling cheated. Each month, without fail, I gave more than half of the contents away and was left disappoined with what I did keep. I languished for 6 months and finally cancelled my membership there. I got myself online and researched. I searched for a site that offered products made for me, a black woman. Now, I will not lie, I was apprehensive to join another subscription box site and at twice the cost as I was afraid of being doubly duped. But, I joined and am so glad I did :) I was a lucky girl as I signed up just 2 days before the chance to get the Christmas/December box ended. Alikay's products are wonderful along with everything else included. I received my box and felt like I was someone special; it seemed tailored just for me. I would have paid triple the cost for the way I felt when I opened my box. Thank you Cocotique!

I had never heard of Alikay naturals before this box and I must say I am impressed by this line. I have consistently been using the products in the box.The Gel is amazing, I have big thick curls and the gel provides good hold and defined curls. The leave-in conditioner seems to close the cuticle, making my hair smooth and frizz free.
